Stitch binding

For stitch binding, folded sheets are inserted inside one another, bound on the fold and cut smooth on three sides.

Stitch binding is the simplest and most cost-effective type of binding, known informally as a leaflet. Wire-bound brochures are used for printed materials of all kinds to a maximum thickness of 5 mm.

  • binding type: stitch binding
  • from 12 pages, from CHF 9.25

Design tip:

Multi-page stitch binding results in a certain “border loss” due to the production process. This means that the pages are shortened because the individual sheets are nested into each other, so the inner pages of the stitch binding are shortened on each sheet. So our tip is: when designing your layout, make sure that any images or charts have been indented enough and not pulled into the corners.
